Pickpocket caught in Mumbai Metro train

Mohammed Raees Abdul Shaikh was arrested after two passengers caught him red-handed stealing a wallet, the police said.

The Ghatkopar police arrested a 24-year-old man Monday for allegedly picking the pocket of a passenger inside a Metro train.

Mohammed Raees Abdul Shaikh was arrested after two passengers caught him red-handed stealing a wallet, the police said. “During investigation, we came to know that Shaikh had been involved in stealing for the last few months. We have recovered Rs 14,200 from him,” said a police officer.
