THE MAGISTRATE court Saturday extended the police custody of Jahnvi Marathe and Sagar Patil, who were arrested in connection with the Ghatkopar hoarding collapse, till June 21.
While Marathe was the director of the Ego Media company when they had sought permission to put up the hoarding, Patil oversaw the construction of the hoarding which was found to be unsafe.
The SIT further said that they will be issuing summons to the legal firm and law officer whose opinion the GRP had sought while granting permission for the hoarding.
While the land belonged to state government, the legal firm had opined that it belonged to railways.
The SIT has further found that the fees for the legal firm was paid by Ego Media instead of the railway police.
