Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his yatra in Kandivali on Thursday, Union Minister Piyush Goyal described Borivali as his first home and said he was overwhelmed by the love Mumbaikars showered on him during his campaign in North Mumbai.
When asked about how he felt about the immense love and affection he received in his yatras, Goyal said, “North Mumbai is my Karmabhoomi”. He said Borivali has embraced him and his family and that they have embraced them too.
Pointing a finger at himself, Goyal said all the love that was being showered on “this Mumbaikar” was “meant for Modiji” and it was going directly to him.
]During the course of his campaign, Goyal has engaged with different sections of society in various assembly segments of the constituency like fishermen, pheriwalas, students, chartered accountants, lawyers, traders, stock brokers, teachers, auto drivers, transporters , coolies , different types of businesses, society residents, and so on besides hundreds of thousands of karyakartas.
Goyal said that as a representative of the constituency and member of government, he will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that sincere efforts are made to resolve all development and growth issues of North Mumbai.
