Lok Adalat: 14,739 cases disposed, total settlement at Rs 792 crore

The total settlement value of disposed matters is nearly Rs 792.44 crore.  Judges, advocates and judicial staff along with DLSA Secretary Anant K Deshmukh contributed to the Lok Adalats.

A total of 14,739 cases, including 13,275 post-litigation and 1,464 pre-litigation cases were disposed at the Lok Adalats held at city civil and sessions court and other courts and tribunals in Mumbai on Saturday.

The total settlement value of disposed matters is nearly Rs 792.44 crore.  Judges, advocates and judicial staff along with DLSA Secretary Anant K Deshmukh contributed to the Lok Adalats.
