Khaire’s condition improving: JJ dean

Hemant Khaire (50),who was injured at the fire at Mantralaya on Thursday,showed signs of improvement but continued to remain on ventilator for the fifth consecutive day.

Hemant Khaire (50),who was injured at the fire at Mantralaya on Thursday,showed signs of improvement but continued to remain on ventilator for the fifth consecutive day. The Mantralaya employee was admitted to JJ Hospital and suffered internal burn injuries. He has been operated on once. “Khaire is better after the surgery and is improving. If his health stabilises,we might take him off the ventilator tomorrow,” said dean of JJ Hospital,Dr T P Lahane. Khaire was stuck on the sixth floor of the Mantralaya when it caught fire.
