A sessions court Friday denied bail to Sooraj,son of actor Aditya Pancholi,arrested June 10 for allegedly abetting suicide of actor-girlfriend Jiah Khan.

A sessions court Friday denied bail to Sooraj,son of actor Aditya Pancholi,arrested June 10 for allegedly abetting suicide of actor-girlfriend Jiah Khan.

Her mother Rabia Amin intervened in the bail application and claimed Sooraj pushed Jiah to take the extreme step.

The defence said the case was concocted and there was no evidence to link Sooraj with the suicide. Prosecutor Jyoti Sawant countered: A letter Jiah allegedly wrote claims Sooraj assaulted,raped and at times hit her in front of other people. There is enough evidence against Sooraj.
