The mortal remains of Synergy Adlabs creative head Neeraj Grover,allegedly stabbed to death last year by his actor girlfriend Maria Susiaraj and her fiancé Emile Jerome,were produced in the sessions court on Monday.
These included the skull,ribs and pieces of the thigh bone. These had been recovered by the police from the jungles of Manor,Thane (rural).
Susairaj and naval officer Jerome had allegedly murdered Grover at Susairajs Malad house in May 2008. She and Jerome are then alleged to have cut the body into several pieces and disposed of the remains in the jungles .According to the prosecution,Susairaj had broken down during interrogation and led the police to the spot.
A pancha witness,Usha Ramulu,identified the remains,saying the police had shown her the same items soon after they were recovered. She was examined to establish that the skull had been recovered on the basis of Susairajs information.
