Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has reportedly received a threat from an unidentified person who sent an email on Thursday threatening to blow up Shinde’s vehicle. The Goregaon police are working to track down the person who sent the email.
The email was sent to several recipients including the Goregaon police, JJ Marg police station, state secretariat and two other locations in Mumbai. This is not the first time Deputy CM Shinde is facing threats. Just a month ago, he received another threat, which led to the arrest of a 27-year-old person.
Eknath Shinde was in Delhi on Thursday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar are also in the national capital.
