After disconnecting electricity and gas supplies, it will take officials another day to disconnect water supply for nearly 36 illegal flats in Mid-town apartments.“We have disconnected water supply for 59 flats. We will decide our next plan of action after we disconnect the essential supplies for all the illegal flats,” said Keshav Ubale, assistant municipal commissioner of the G-South ward office, on Thursday.
A pipe damage in Orchid Apartments on Thursday caused further delay in phase-I of the demolition procedure. “We had to replace the entire pipe and ensure the first five legal floors in every building were not affected,” Ubale added.
