Navy Children School advanced into the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) boys’ under-16 Division II semifinal at the Castrol-MSSA centre in Azad Maidan on Wednesday. And they had to keep their nerves in a thrilling penalty shootout to overcome Don Bosco from Borivali with the final margin reading 5-4. The game was locked at 1-1 after Akshay Saini and Shahshank Nayak netted a goal each for Navy and Don Bosco respectively. Saini,Anchit Kumar,Bosco Chidmand and Abhijay Kapoor converted their penalties for the victors while Nayak,Wayne Trinidade and Michael Nathan were on target for Don Bosco.
