A seminar on Achievements and Contributions of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was organized here today at Malwa College Bondli-Samrala in collaboration with Indian Council of Historical Research,New Delhi. Dr. S.D. Gujrani in his keynote address described Baba Banda Singh Bahadur as a Military commander par excellence,who lead the uprising against the tyrannical Mughal Empire from the front. Presenting his paper Dr. P.K. Shukla former Director of I.C.H.R. said that the struggle waged by Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was in fact an agrarian uprising,without communal outlook against the tyrant rulers. He said that Bandas army had Sikhs,Satnamias and Muslims also.
