Rajiv birth anniversary observed

The District Congress Committee today paid tributes to late Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi on his 68th birth anniversary here today.

The District Congress Committee (Ludhiana Urban) today paid tributes to late Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi on his 68th birth anniversary here today. The main function was organised at the District Congress office which was presided over by the DCC President Pawan Dewan.

The party leaders after paying floral tributes to late Rajiv Gandhis portrait recalled his services for the country. Addressing the function,Dewan said,the real homage to Rajiv Gandhi was to follow into his footsteps. He said,this was important as the same forces who had killed Rajiv Gandhi and his mother Indira Gandhi were trying to raise their ugly head again and it was necessary to defeat them.
