No fogging in dengue-hit area,councillor blames civic body

Councillor from Ward 63 has asked the health branch of the civic body to gear up in the fight against malaria and dengue.

Area councillor Jagbir Singh Sokhi said even after three patients from Preet Nagar have tested positive for dengue,there is no sign of fogging,despite the health branch claiming otherwise.

The sanitary wing has so far not received any material for fogging,he said,adding that he purchased a mini fogging machine to check the outbreak in certain high-risk areas. The civic body should fulfil its duty,said the councillor.
