Newborn dumped on road, fourth incident this month

Police initiated proceedings to register a case against accused parents who dumped the child along the road.

In a fourth incident since January, a newborn was found dumped on the roadside near village Neechi Mangli on Sunday evening.
The boy was wrapped in a white cloth and dumped on the roadside when passerbys found the baby and informed the police.

A police team from Mattewara police station reached the spot and initiated investigation in the case. Police rushed the child to hospital where he is under observation for 72 hours. Police initiated proceedings to register a case against accused parents who dumped the child along the road.

On January 7, a fetus was found on a road in Vijay nagar area.

On January 5, a fetus was found from a vacant plot at Noorwala Road and on January 2 a teenager had thrown a newly born girl child in the toilet of Juneja Hospital in Daba area. Police have  failed to arrest the accused in any of the cases.
