Miscreants at gunpoint looted a timber merchant of his Swift Dzire car near circuit house at Ferozpur road on Monday. The accused also took wallet of the victim containing cash and fled towards Bharat Nagar chowk.

Jaspreet Singh resident of Jagraon said that he had come to Ludhiana to attend a function near Shenshah palace and around 1 am when he was returning back to his home a Volkswagen car intercepted him and the incident took place.
