Flesh trade racket busted,11 arrested

Apart from Harjinder and the pimps,police also arrested five girls out of which two were minors aged 14 and 16. The police also arrested three clients. Dugri chowki incharge Satwinder Singh said,“We have sent the minor girls to Nari Niketan while the rest have been sent to Ludhiana Central Jail after producing them in court today.”

He said the minor girls were from Jandiali and Shimlapuri area and they had run from their houses after a fight with their parents. They had been starving for the past few days. On Monday morning,Bobby and Shera met them at Dugri bridge. They allured them with a promise of providing them good food,clothes and jobs,and they went with them,told the chowki incharge.
