231 complaints disposed of at police meet

A meeting of police and public was organised in the area of assistant commissioner of police (west) area on Thursday in which around 231 complaints came from Sarabha Nagar,PAU,division number 5 and 8 police stations. Out of these,191 were disposed of on the spot while the rest were kept for further action as per law.

Most of the complaints were related to matrimonial disputes while a few pertained to property disputes,personal enmity and sexual harassment. Both parties had been called to get a personal hearing from both sides.
