1984 Sikh riot victims protest Sajjan Kumar’s acquittal

The members stated that they had been waiting for justice for more than 27 years.

Reacting to the judgement over Sajjan Kumar’s acquittal,the Danga Peerat Welfare Society Tuesday said its members have lost faith in the judiciary. The members stated that they had been waiting for justice for more than 27 years. The members will be doing a meeting in Jalandhar shortly in which they will chalk out a plan for ‘rail roko’ and traffic jams in different parts of the state. The widows were seen sobbing after the decision.
