Police on Friday arrested a youth for killing his elder sister,her husband and their son,who were found brutally murdered at their house in Madiaon area on Wednesday.
According to police,Gokul (25) had killed his sister Sheela,her husband Guddu and the couple’s son Tarun (5) by hitting them on their heads with a stone used for grinding chutney,inside their one-room house.
Police said Gokul,a resident of Bhawanipur village in Sitapur,was angry at Sheela who had married Guddu after leaving her former husband. Gokul also had a heated argument with Guddu at his native village where the latter had gone with his family on Holi.
The bodies were discovered on Wednesday when neighbours noticed the odour emanating from the house. Police had already recovered the stone used for murders.
