The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has dropped its 100 subject experts from its panel as they failed to meet the set quality standards.
In an official communique, UPPSC examination controller Ajay Kumar Tiwari said that the decision was taken following a review of work of these experts who will not be given any confidential work related to the commission.
He further informed that the review of the work of subject experts in evaluation of answer sheets or setting of papers would continue in the future as well and all those found guilty of anomalies would be immediately removed from the panel.
Also, new experts from all across the country have been added to the panel and attempts are being made to expand the panel, he added.
Last year too, the Commission dropped around 80 of its subject experts with immediate effect for their failing to match the quality parameters of the commission, UPPSC officials said.
The move came after UPPSC implementing a major change in the interview board of its recruitment exam— the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam, known as PCS.
