Actor Rajkumar Rao will be part of the UP Police campaign to aware people of online shopping frauds. “A proposal was made to make people aware of cybercrime during the conference of the Director General of Police and Inspector General of Police.

Police said 5,432 people have been arrested and an amount of Rs 89.46 crore recovered from them in connection with cybercrimes. The government said cyber police stations have been set up in 18 ranges in the state. A total of 91 posts of inspectors, 93 sub-inspectors, 51 head constables and 176 constables were created to tackle cybercrime. For effective supervision , 17 DSPs, 4 ASPs, 2 SPs and 1 IG have been approved for cyber stations, it added.
