WHILE SPEAKING during the Budget session of the state Assembly on Saturday, SP Chief and leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav targeted
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, urging him and the BJP to “stop doing politics in the name of prabhu Ram.” “Ram pehle bhi they.. Prabhu Ram aaj bhi hai, prabhu Ram hamesha rahenge. Jab hum aur aap nahi the, prabhu Ram tab bhi the. Jab hum aur aap nahi rahenge, prabhu Ram tab bhi rahenge.,” said Akhilesh
He added, “Isliye kehna ki aap prabhu Ram ko layen hai, aisa kehke aap prabhu Ram ka apman to kar hi rahe hai. Saath hi saath dharma ko bhi apmanit kar rahe hai” (Ram was there earlier also, he is there today and would always remain. He was there when I and you were not there and he would remain when I and you would not be there but to claim that you have brought Ram… by saying this, you are insulting Ram as well as the religion).”
“Prabhu Ram ke naam pe rajneeti karna bandh kijiye,” (Stop doing politics in the name of prabhu Ram), said Akhilesh. “When Lord Ram resides in the heart, then what is the need to take the name?, he added.
Akhilesh, who is often targeted by Adityanath over his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav being allegedly “sidelined”, said that while the Leader of the House often taunts him by making such a suggestion, he, however, does not want to do the same by taking any names.
He went on to indicate that the CM was “sidelined” during the January 22 Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya despite doing hard work for its success. Instead, Akhilesh suggested, “those who came from Delhi” took all the limelight. He said that figures have been given about the number of times, Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya to make preparations for the consecration ceremony.
“Jab sahi samay aaya toh focus se out they…” said Akhilesh. He also said, “Yeh line mein bhi nahi they, sidelines mein they… Citing the government’s claims on Deepotsava in Ayodhya, Akhilesh added, “(When the right time came, he was not even in focus. He was not in the line as he was on the sidelines.”
