Tea growers lost Rs 25 cr daily during bandh

The just-concluded strike called by trade unions in North Bengal has inflicted loss of Rs 25 crore per day on tea growers in the Dooars and Terai region of the state,said Indian Tea Association.

The just-concluded strike called by trade unions in North Bengal has inflicted loss of Rs 25 crore per day on tea growers in the Dooars and Terai region of the state,said Indian Tea Association. The estimated crop loss was 1.2 million kilograms on account of non-plucking of tea.
