Police rescued a 17-year-old boy after was allegedly beaten up and taken away by a classmate’s brother Monday in Kolkata. Police said the class XI student reportedly wanted to be in a relationship with a classmate.

The girl, however, told her brother about the boy. The girl’s brother along with a few of his friends reached the school and beat up the boy, police said, adding that they also forcibly took him to a nearby ground.

After the boy’s family approached Salt Lake police , the cops scanned CCTV footage from a shop near the school and traced him to a ground in Kasba area.
