Rajnath slams Cong for not unravelling Netaji mystery

UNION HOME Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday assured that the NDA government would declassify the files related to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and slammed the previous Congress governments at the Centre for failing in its duty to unravel the mystery of his disappearance.

“The steps which should have been taken to unravel the mystery of Netaji’s disappearance were not taken by Congress regimes since independence. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken a historic step by announcing that all the documents related to his disappearance would be declassified (on January 23). It is the commitment of Narendra Modi government,” Singh said.

“The previous Congress governments didn’t take steps to unravel the mystery of Netaji’s disappearance…. On January 23, all files would be accessible to the public,” he added.
