KMC: Year-long drive against dengue

With the dengue-causing Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes now breeding throughout the year, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has decided to change tact, kickstarting a year-long anti-dengue programme instead of previous campaigns that focused only during winters. Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee will lead a rally in the city on January 7, which will be aimed at creating awareness about dengue.
