FICN detection machines to be installed along Indo-Bangla border

BSF will install FICN (Fake Indian Currency Notes) detection machines in all BOPs along India-Bangladesh border to curb FICN menace. The installation will be done in a phase-wise manner,senior BSF officials said after coordination meeting between BSFs of India and Bangladesh. In the first phase,we will install

machines in sensitive BOPs. A present,we have identified 82 BOPs through which FICN consignments are pushed to India. We will later install scanners at all BOPs, BD Sharma,Special DG and ADG if BSF (East).
