Girl from Karauli bags second rank

A small town girl from Hindon in Karauli district, Khushi Tiwari, has bagged the second rank in the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) conducted by CBSE, the results of which were declared on Monday. Khushi got 86.3 percent marks in the exam which she cleared in her first attempt.

Speaking to The Indian Express, she said that she had studied in Hindon till her Class X. Later she studied in Kota. She worked hard and stayed true to her goal and did not take any shortcuts. Khushi said that girls should come forward in the field of medicine and serve people. Though she was sure of clearing the exam, getting second rank was a happy surprise for her.

Khushi’s father Manmohan Sharma and mother Mumta Sharma are dentists in Hindon.
