Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be participating in two public events in Gujarat on October 30 and 31.

On October 30, PM Modi is scheduled to attend an event in Mehsana district’s Kheralu where he is expected to launch developmental projects worth Rs 4,778 crore. The Gujarat BJP is all geared up for the event where around one lakh people are expected to remain present.

On October 31, the Prime Minister will visit the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar in Narmada district to participate in Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Prime Minister will inaugurate 30 electric buses of the Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Government Authority (SOUADTGA) to be pressed into service for the mobility of tourists as part of the “Green City” plan for Ekta Nagar.

Modi will also inaugurate a public motorcycle-sharing system — an effort to make Ekta Nagar a pedestrian-friendly area with limited motorised vehicles. SOUADTGA CEO Udit Agarwal also confirmed that the PM will also inaugurate golf carts for tourists to move around in the tourism circuit and also the Kamalam Park (dragon fruit park).
