A woman has alleged that she was gangraped by five men at a flat in South Delhi on Saturday-Sunday night. Police have arrested four of the accused, while one is absconding.

According to police, the 25-year-old woman filed a complaint at the Defence Colony police station that five men — Aakash (23), Deepak (20), Aman (20) and two others — raped her in Aman’s flat in South Delhi’s Dakshinpuri area. They then dropped her on a road in Khanpur area where police found her after an autorickshaw driver alerted police.

A senior police officer said, “Aakash, Aman and Deepak allegedly kidnapped her and took her to Aman’s flat in Dakshinpuri, where they were joined by two other friends. They allegedly took turns to rape her. The woman was then dumped.” The autorickshaw driver filed a complaint around 2.45 am, giving the number of the car Aman was driving.
