We are excited,joyous over the verdict…. The order made us believe in the judicial system, said Naresh Yadav,counsel for two of the three domestic helps who were earlier named as suspects in the Arushi-Hemrajmurder case.
On Wednesday,a special court in Ghaziabad named Arushis parents,Rajesh and Nupur Talwar,as accused. Krishna,Rajkumar and Vijay Mandal,the domestic helps,were excluded from the suspects list. Yadav represents Mandal and Rajkumar.
Krishnas counsel Fateh Chand Sharma said their next step would be filing harassment cases against the CBI officers who used the domestic helps,charged them over false allegations and wrongly sent them to prison.
We will file cases against all those who have ruined the lives (of our clients). We will demand compensation for them too, Yadav said.
According to the counsel,the helps have heard about the order and are happy.
We spoke to them over the phone. They have heard about the order. They thanked us for standing by them. Krishna and Rajkumar are in Nepal and are unemployed. Vijay Mandal is in Bihar. They will not be called to Delhi till we zero-in on officers who made them suffer in prison on wrong charges, Yadav said.
Speaking on the order by the court on Wednesday,Yadav said justice has been done to the poor.
The verdict means that the domestic helps were wrongfully accused in the murder case. We have been telling the court that the parents are involved in the murder,not our clients. We will fight our battle against the CBI officers now, Yadav said.
He said he was yet to read the full order of the court.
