UP government school teacher suspended after 4 students accuse him of ‘bad touch’
The school in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras has launched an inquiry into the incident after four separate complaints against the teacher were found inside the school's complaint box, an official said.
The nine newly formed municipal corporations are Morbi, Surendranagar, and Porbandar in Saurashtra; Anand and Nadiad in Central Gujarat; Gandhidham in Kutch; Mehsana in north Gujarat; and Vapi and Navsari in south Gujarat.
A 45-year-old government school teacher in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district was suspended on Monday after four girls studying in Class 6 accused him of ‘bad touch’ inside the school premises. The school took suo motu action in the case and has launched an inquiry into the incident, an official said.
Neither the school nor the parents of the students have approached the police yet.

The matter came to light on Monday when the principal opened a complaint box kept inside the school. “The four girls had written four separate complaints and since they are in Class 6, they know how to write,” Basic Siksha Adhikari Swati Bharti told The Indian Express. “The school sensitises children on ‘good touch’ and ‘bad touch’. The girls later came forward, narrated their ordeal and complained to their teacher,” added Bharti.
The station house officer of the jurisdictional police station confirmed to The Indian Express that they have not received a complaint on this matter yet. “We are aware of the incident at the school and the suspension of the school teacher but there has been no complaint so far,” he said.
