Three deaths, including those of two minor boys, were reported due to drowning as rains lashed the city on Friday.

The first incident was reported at the inundated Okhla underpass at 6.23am when a man, riding a scooter, was found unconscious in water. He was identified as 60-year-old Digvijay Kumar Chaudhary, a resident of Jaitpur.

He was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre where he was declared brought dead.

Later in the day, at 2.25pm, bodies of two boys, said to be around nine-year-old, were recovered from a flooded Siraspur underpass.
