On Thursday afternoon, actor Shah Rukh Khan had an injury on the sets of his next film Happy New Year.
The initial reports indicated that he had a major injury and had to be rushed to Nanavati Hospital, Vile Parle. However, Khan’s publicist clarified, “He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid,” in an official release.
The doctors at Nanavati Hospital said that Khan was being treated at their physiotherapy department. He was discharged by evening and had returned to the sets.
Khan, who has a history of injuries during shoots and has also undergone a shoulder surgery in the past for the same, was shooting for friend Farah Khan’s directorial project Happy New Year in an action sequence at a suburban hotel when a piece of filming equipment fell on him, injuring him.
