Shah turned Delhi into jungle raj: Kejriwal

The BJP sought to counter Kejriwal’s allegations by accusing him of exhibiting “dual standards” by “using criminal incidents for political gains”.

kejriwal"Kejriwal diverts attention by using unfortunate criminal incidents as a political shield to avoid accountability,” Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva alleged.

AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday directly held Union Home Minister Amit Shah responsible for the “worsening law and order situation in Delhi”.

Amit Shah ji has ruined Delhi. He has turned Delhi into a jungle raj. People are living a life of terror everywhere. BJP is no longer able to handle the law and order situation in Delhi…,” Kejriwal alleged in a post on X.

“…On Saturday morning, a utensil trader named Sunil… went for a morning walk. While he was returning home, two bike riders shot him eight times in the middle of the road and killed him. How did the criminals become so bold as to shoot someone in broad daylight and escape? How have criminals become so fearless in Delhi?” he asked.

The BJP sought to counter Kejriwal’s allegations by accusing him of exhibiting “dual standards” by “using criminal incidents for political gains”.

“Today, when the people of Delhi are demanding answers from Arvind Kejriwal regarding his government’s corruption – whether it is the Sheesh Mahal scam, liquor scandal, deaths caused by waterlogging and electric shocks during monsoon, or the worsening condition of roads, education, health infrastructure, and parks – Kejriwal diverts attention by using unfortunate criminal incidents as a political shield to avoid accountability,” Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva alleged.
