Actor Imran Khan found his own happy ending as he got engaged to longtime sweetheart Avantika Malik at a private ceremony at the Malik farmhouse in Karjat. While Khan looked almost delicious in a bandhgala sherwani designed by Karan Johar and Varun Bahl,we wished Malik wore a dress that didn’t look as if it had been culled from her mother’s velvet curtains. Rallying behind the young actor was the entire Khan household — from uncle Aamir Khan with wives from the past and the present (Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao) to grand-uncle Mansoor Khan and Aamir’s parents Tahir Hussain and Zeenat. Other B-towners digging into the Mughlai cuisine included Johar,Kunal Kohli,Purab Kohli,Kunal Kapoor and Abhay Deol. As an engagement gift,Khan presented Malik with an imported Volkswagen Beetle. Now,if that isn’t love,what is?
