According to the police,Lokesh and Manoj were accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle. They have been posted at some major police posts and had learnt the schedule and workings of the police. “They used to extort and loot money from people,” said Tripathi.

The police also learnt from Lokesh that few other policemen were also involved in such loots. “We will investigate the matter and action will be taken if there is such a case,” said SP (City).
