They are easily the most-talked about couple in Bollywood, be it their successful outings on screen, in films such as Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani (2009) and Raajneeti (2010), or their appearances off it. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will again be seen opposite each other in Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos next year. Now, the two may feature in filmmaker Anand L Rai’s next. Rai is keen on casting Kapoor as a dwarf, who falls in love with Kaif playing herself, say sources.
If this materialises, Kapoor will be the first Hindi film hero to do a full-fledged dwarf character, considering Kamal Haasan played such a character in the 1990 film Appu Raja. Given Kapoor’s record of essaying difficult roles with ease — such as that of a deaf-and-dumb in Barfi! — we are expecting another spectacular show.
