The meat merchants,meanwhile,have decided to continue their strike until November 4 — when the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is expected tosubmit an affidavit to the Supreme Court,outlining the facilities it is providing at Ghazipur.

“We ask the Delhi government to talk to us within the next two days or we will take our protest to the streets,” said a spokesperson of the All India Jamiat Quresh.
