A 27-year-old woman and her two minor children were found murdered at their residence in west Delhi’s Raghuvir Nagar area on Monday.
The woman, identified as Shabnam lived with her family on the first floor of an apartment. Her husband, an entrepreneur, had gone to Jaipur for some official work when the incident took place, said a police official.
The incident was reported around 7am when Shabnam’s husband returned home and found the door unlocked. When he rushed inside, he found his wife and children – aged six and eight- lying in a pool of blood, he said.
He raised an alarm and later neighbours called the police. Investigation has been initiated and the motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, added the officer.
