Delhi News Highlights: (March 20): The Delhi High Court on Wednesday sought the response of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a writ petition moved by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal against summons issued by the agency in excise policy case. The matter has been listed on April 22. As per the latest summons issued to the CM, Kejriwal has been asked to appear on Thursday. The ED on Monday, for the first time, alleged that CM Kejriwal was a conspirator in the excise policy case. Kejriwal and AAP have called the summonses illegal and have alleged that they are being sent at the behest of the BJP.
Meanwhile, water supply to areas/colonies including GH-1 Milansar apartment, GH-1 Archana apartment, Shubham Enclave, RBI Colony, G Block Pushkar Enclave, Nangloi Village and other areas will not be available from 9 am to 7 pm on Wednesday, the Delhi Jal Board announced, advising residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per requirement. The water supply has been affected due to the closure of 600 mm diameter valve at Radisson Blue Tapping for 10 hours for interconnection of 600 mm diameter water pipeline.
Weather update today: Delhi will witness mainly clear skies on Wednesday, according to a forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33 and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.
