Delhi Air Quality Index (AQI) Level Today, October 27, 2025: Marking an extremely slight dip, the the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi-NCR hovered at 315 on Monday (October 27), three points down from yesterday’s 318.
However, this still puts it under the ‘very poor’ category, indicating a slight improvement from Sunday but, a decline from Saturday (October 25) when the AQI was 257 as of 5.30am.
Going by Early Warning System’s forecast, the AQI might shoot up anywhere between 320 and 350 today.
The AQI reading is categorised as Good (0-50), Satisfactory (51-100), Moderately Polluted (101-200), Poor (201-300), Very Poor (301-400), and Severe (401-500). Higher the AQI reading, the unhealthier it is to breathe.
Ashok Vihar recorded the highest AQI at 416, putting it under the ‘severe’ category, followed by Goutampuri at 415 AQI and Anand Vihar at 322 AQI, according to private air pollution tracker aqi.in. There usually is a difference between AQI figures recorded by the EWS, Central Pollution Control Board, and aqi.in due to positioning of the various monitoring stations and devices and the different parameters considered.

The weather (as of Monday morning) is around 18oC. Maximum temperature is forecast to be around 29oC-31oC, while the minimum is expected to be around 17oC-19oC, as forecast by RMC Delhi. Delhi is expected to see a generally cloudy sky with mist or shallow fog during the morning hours. There is a possibility of one or two spells of light rain/drizzle during the evening or night, according to Delhi RMC forecast.
