Alcohol connoisseurs in Delhi now have a good news to cheer!

A total of 48 “premium” liquor vends have cropped up so far across the national capital’s upscale areas, malls and big markets, offering multiple options, bigger brands and a better walk-in experience.

Last year, the Delhi government’s contentious excise policy was scrapped amid allegations of corruption and investigations by multiple agencies. Since September 2022, when the government reverted to its old excise regime that only allowed government vends to operate, customers and restaurateurs have been complaining of limited availability of popular brands, and of losing customers to neighbouring Gurgaon.

Keeping this in mind, these open spacious “premium” vends offer multiple options and allow people to walk in and pick up alcohol without any hassle. These vends operate under four corporations — DSIIDC, DTTDC, DCCWS and DSCSC, and the list is as follows:

Premium shops of DSCSC

Premium shops of DSIIDC

Premium shops of DCCWS

Premium shops of DTTDC
