* Charu Wahi, principal of Nirmal Bharti School, writes: “This is in reference to your newspaper article titled ‘Schools flout norms, start nursery rush’ dated November 13,2009,in which the name of our school has been erroneously mentioned. We wish to clarify that our school had not been giving out registration forms for the next academic session before December 15. We had only been giving out forms for senior classes for the academic year 2010-11.”

* Principal of St Mark’s School,Paschim Vihar, writes in reference to the report ‘Nursery admissions: Govt order in place, parents still in dilemma’ dated December 4,2009: “A person has been quoted saying his or her child was offered a seat in St Mark’s School,Paschim Vihar. I would like to state that the registration/admission process has not been started in our school till date. I would also like to state that our school St Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School,Meera Bagh,Paschim Vihar, only has classes from I to XII. Hence there is no question of any nursery admission being entertained in this institution.”

(The letter was written before the nursery admissions formally began).

The errors are regretted.
