‘Mother’,such a special word ,the loveliest ,I have ever heard .A mother plays the roles of a daughter,a sister,a wife,a cook,a friend,and a teacher. I know you all are confused about how to celebrate Mothers’ day. So I will give you a mind blowing idea. Make a bag of sweets,bake a cake,make a beautiful card and plan a surprise party.When your mom wakes up,give her a big hug and thank her for whatever she has done for you.

It is said that god couldn’t be everywhere so he created mothers. For me the above statements holds true as my mother for me is no less than an angel. She is my idol,my critic,my guide and,most importantly,my best friend. She corrects me when I am wrong,supports me through all my decisions,holds my hand even in the most difficult time. Her love for me is unconditional and she works tirelessly to make my life great. But she forgets what she is worth. So this Mothers’ Day my aim is to repay some part of what my mother does for me.

A Mother is one of the most important persons in a child’s life. Mothers’ Day is celebrated to honour all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they bear while bringing up a child. Many countries around the world such as United States,Australia,Canada and India celebrate Mothers’ Day on the second Sunday of May. Mothers Day came into being due to the efforts made by Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis. The resolution to have a dedicated Mothers’ Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8,1914. Since then people across the world have been celebrating Mothers Day with joy and devotion.

Our mothers don’t much. Small gestures from our side make her day. Make a greeting card for her,prepare her favourite dish and give her a little time to relax. It would make her day memorable. Mothers do not want anything from us. Just some love and respect. Never hurt your mother because she will never tolerate it if someone hurts you.
