The source added that the AIIMS faculty members, resident doctors will be posted to the CAPF institute on a roster basis to cater to the patients.

“During a meeting, it was decided that patients who are coming to AIIMS Delhi’s emergency and not able to find a bed, or ICU facilities will be sent to CAPF Institute and care will be provided to the patients,” the source said. To tackle patient load, the source said, more hiring will happen as and when required and CAPF doctors posted in various locations in the country will be appointed here.

The institute will provide healthcare facilities to all CAPFs employees, their dependents, pensioners, CGHS beneficiaries, AB-PMJAY beneficiaries and the general public.
