Attacking the BJP-led central government for the latest hike in petrol and diesel prices, the AAP on Saturday announced that it will hold nation-wide protests against the decision on Sunday.
In an effort to mobilise support in the party ranks and generate awareness about the “anti-people” policies of the Centre, the AAP will hold a rally at Jantar Mantar on Sunday morning.

“Various units and frontal organisations of the party and its volunteers will be holding demonstrations and outreach programmes to sensitise people on the anti-people plans of the Centre,” the AAP said.
Attacking the Centre for increasing petrol prices by Rs 3.13 per litre and diesel prices by Rs 2.71 per litre at a time when international crude oil prices have been witnessing a decline, the AAP alleged that the decision is aimed at “benefiting wealthy industrial houses”.
