2 security guards held for assaulting Gurgaon resident

Two security guards have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a resident on the premises of a housing complex in Gurgaon Sector 95 on Thursday night, police said.

The accused, Sunil (33) and Pradeep (40), members of Seclivic Security, work as security guards at the residential complex, said ASI Sandeep, Gurgaon Police spokesperson.

The incident took place between 11 pm (Thursday) and 12 am (Friday) when the victim, a resident of Ananda society, was sitting in the park with his relative.

“A quick response team vehicle of the Seclivic Security arrived, and two of its bouncers started fighting with the victim… they then assaulted him with sticks and threatened to kill him… a case has been registered against the accused under relevant IPC sections,” the ASI added.

We are trying to ascertain the motive behind the attack, according to police.
