2 injured in bike accident near Moolchand Flyover in Delhi

Two men, who were allegedly drunk, were injured after their motorcycle rammed into a pole near the Moolchand Flyover on BRT Road in Delhi’s Defence Colony area early Tuesday.

Two men, who were allegedly drunk, were injured after their motorcycle rammed into a pole near the Moolchand Flyover on BRT Road in Delhi’s Defence Colony area early Tuesday.

A police team reached the spot after a PCR call alerted them to the incident at around 2 am. When they reached the spot, the police said they found Shivam, 29, a resident of Munirka Village, and Govind, 27, from R R Hospital Servant Quarters. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The police said the injured men work as waiters at weddings. “They were found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, as per the Medical Legal Case (MLC) report,” said an officer.
