‘Threat to my life, feel like dying’: woman who accused Haryana BJP chief Badoli and ex-party publicity cell chairman of rape

Badoli has refuted the accusations calling it “baseless” and “politically motivated”.

In a video, the Delhi-based woman has apprehended a threat to her life and claimed that she has enough evidence to prove her accusations against Badoli and Mittal. She also said she would soon address a press conference and present the evidence in front of the media. “Whatever has been happening to me for the last one and a half years, I cannot elaborate it to anybody. People are pointing fingers at me. They [accused] threatened my friend and forced her to give a false statement,” she said.

Last week, the victim’s friend who was also present with her in the hotel when the alleged rape was committed on her by Mittal and Badoli, said she had never seen Badoli before and only Mittal was present in the room that day.

“I feel like dying. I want to share my pain with everybody. They are threatening to kill me. I would also like to ask people who are questioning me that if it had happened to their daughter, would they call their daughter wrong? Would they raise questions? A wrong has been committed with me. There were two witnesses of this crime. One was my boss and another my friend. My friend was in the same room. I never shared her address with anybody. Only the hotel authorities had her address. These people [accused] got her address, threatened her, and forced her to give a false statement in front of the media. I can understand her pain,” said the victim in the video.

“These people can get my address, too. My friend can easily recall how these people tried to falsely implicate both of us in a fake case in Panchkula. They even called her to Panchkula and threatened her to get us implicated in a false case. I would like to appeal to the people of this country, the women’s commission, and the police not to share my address with these people. If they can trace my friend, they can trace me too. I want people to help me. I can’t leave this fight mid-way”.

In the FIR lodged on December 13, 2024, the victim alleged that while Mittal offered her to give her a role in one of his music albums, Badoli said he would give her a government job.
